If you’re after something unique, we can create one of a kind custom shades with a short turn around time and minimal extra cost. Whether you’re in the market for task lighting or ambiance, we’re here to answer your questions and guide you in the right direction. Come into one of our retail stores with your lamps or existing shades. Browse through thousands of lampshades, have something custom made or even recover your old frames. If you have old lamps that need to be rewired, we provide this service in house.

Who We Are
The Victoria Lampshade Shop is a family owned business that sells wholesale and retail lampshades all over North America. You’ll find our lampshades in many homes, hotels, restaurants, movies, TV series throughout BC and across the continent. All of our lampshades are hand made with care in Victoria. We create our hardback shades with fabrics or papers laminated to polystyrene backing. Softback shades are hand sewn, which enables the shade to be relined and/or hand washed. We’ve been trusted lampshade experts for over 45 years. The Victoria Lampshade Shop is here to help everyday people and professionals fulfill their lighting needs.
What You Need To Know
When you come into one of our retail shops, be sure to brig in your old shade and/or lamp. If you'd like to recover an old shade, we can do that. If you want to try something different, we can find the best style, size and colour with the lamp in front of us.
